Overview of Data Highway Plus (DH+)  Fiber Optic Converter

Ci-HF110/HF120 series is designed for industrial serial to fiber converter which supports transparent transmission for Allen-Bradley DH, DH+ and Remote I/O fieldbus protocol. This series provides a fiber converter solution to extend transmission distance up to 2KM over multi-mode fiber or 20KM over single-mode fiber. It secures data transmission over EMI resistant fiber at speeds up to to 230.4Kbps (57.6Kbps and 115.2Kbps optional).

The dual fiber inputs allow connecting multiple devices in a cascade or Daisy-chain topology for fiber redundancy.
Additionally, this series converter provides a fiber link monitoring function to detect the communication errors on both sides of the fiber connection. When a communication error occurs, a red LED status indicator will turn on and the alarm relay contact on the terminal block will activate.

Hardware adopts DIN rail mounting, IP40 metal case, wide temperature and voltage design and has passed rigorous industrial standard tests, which can suit for the industrial scene environment with harsh requirements for EMC. It can be widely used in various situations like industrial control, process control, traffic control and intelligent residential district, and particularly applicable to bank, electricity, departments and systems that have special requirements relating to electromagnetic interference environment.
