Overview of 4-Channel RS-485 Modbus Gateway with 6-port Ethernet Switch
MG5244/5144/5044 series is Modbus Gateway that can make Modbus device be equipped with networking capability instantly and centrally manage the scattered serial devices and hosts via network. This product supports 4 RS-485/422 Combo serial ports to 2 100M Ethernet copper ports which supports electromagnetic isolation. It adopts rail or wall mounting to meet the requirements of different application scenes.
Serial device server supports multiple network protocols, such as TCP, UDP, TELNET, ARP, ICMP, HTTP, DNS and DHCP protocol. It also possesses complete management functions, including Access Control, Rapid Configuration, Online Upgrading and so on. Each serial port supports 4 TCP or UDP session connections, and it also supports TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP Server, UDP Client operating modes and TELNET, WEB access modes.
MG5244/5144/5044 series serial server adopt high-strength IP40 protective housing, industrial grade EMC design, support Auto-Negotiation adaptive technology, provide a comprehensive LED status indicator, support redundant wide voltage 12~48VDC power input to increase the reliability of the communication network.
Double IP design, provide 2 10/100Base-T (x) RJ45 ports and 8-channel RS-485 serial ports. It is easy and convenient to centralize the management of decentralized serial devices and hosts through the network, the communication rate support 300~460800bps optional.
Built-in Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII protocol make it easy for users to connect Modbus Ethernet devices to Modbus serial devices.
Hardware adopts fanless, low power consumption, wide temperature and voltage design and has passed rigorous industrial standard tests, which can suit for the industrial scene environment with harsh requirements for EMC. It can be widely used in PLC control and management, Building Automation System, Health Care Automation System, measuring instrument and environmental forces monitoring system.
