Overview of 2 port Gigabit Ethernet Media Converters
CK1211 series Media Converters transparently connect 100Mbps or 1000Mbps RJ45 Copper to Gigabit SFP fiber. The network media converter/media converter fiber/fiber network switch will automatically detect if the copper port speed is 100Mbps or 1000Mbps and convert the data rate if the fiber port speed is different. Fiber to Ethernet Converters use a copper transceiver to transform the signal from a UTP/RJ45 Ethernet link to one that can be used by a fiber optic transceiver.
These media converters are used to enable connections of UTP copper-based Ethernet equipment to optical fiber cable such as multimode, single mode, or single strand fiber. The benefits include, extending Ethernet links over greater distances, protecting data from noise and interference.
Hardware adopts fanless, low power consumption, wide temperature and voltage (DC12~48V) design and has passed rigorous industrial standard tests, which can suit for the industrial scene environment with harsh requirements for EMC. This series support Auto-Negotiation and LED indicates, IP40 case, DIN35 rail or wall mounting. It can be widely used in smart city, rail transit, smart city, safety city, new energy, intelligent manufacturing and other industrial fields.
